Amata was created by three serial entrepreneurs including Ludovic Huraux. Ludovic built one of the largest dating platforms in France back in 2007, generating more than one wedding every day. He is also an early investor in Hugging Face, one of the largest AI companies in the world.
What's the difference between the Amata app and Tomorrow?
Tomorrow is a different experience entirely. While the Amata app is already more curated than anything else on the market, Tomorrow goes further — a fully blind format, a more personalized AI matching process, and a concept built around one simple idea: sign up today, go on a date tomorrow. No browsing, no planning, no swiping. Just show up.
Where are the dates organized?
We handpick bars across New York City that are warm, intimate, and conducive to real conversation. All venues serve both alcoholic and soft drinks. Every spot is vetted by our team, and we always make sure the venue works for both of you geographically. You'll receive the name and address the morning of your date, along with your match's first name and a compatibility note.
Why don't I get to see who I'm meeting?
Because photos are where most bad decisions happen in dating. People decline matches they'd have loved in real life, because a photo didn't match their imagined "type." Removing that variable is the whole point. Your AI matchmaker takes your physical preferences into account — among many other signals — to find someone genuinely compatible.
What if I'm just not attracted to the person?
That's exactly the feedback your AI matchmaker needs. After every date, it asks you what happened — not just "did you like them," but deeper. Every honest debrief sharpens the next match. The conversation after the date is just as important as the date itself.
How can you make sure the matching is good enough?
Our AI was trained on thousands of real dates and post-date conversations through the Amata app. If your compatibility score with a potential match is below 75%, we won't send you on that date — we'll find someone better. Tomorrow only opens new spots when we can guarantee the quality of the match.
What happens if I need to cancel?
Life happens. Cancel with more than 24 hours' notice and we'll find you another date. Cancel last minute, and that date is forfeited. No-shows are removed from Tomorrow entirely. These rules exist to protect the person waiting for you at the table.
How do you ensure the dates are safe?
Feeling nervous before a blind date is normal. Here's how we make sure you feel safe:

· All members are screened and verified before joining
· Dates take place in safe, welcoming venues
· No-shows are immediately banned
· Post-date debriefs are reviewed to flag any concerns
· A dedicated support team is available at any time
